Sasha's doll

Sasha from Ankara had a special request. She was 4 when this picture was drawn of her, now she is 18 and she is soon leaving for Canada to study there. She won't meet her parents for long months, so she wanted to give them a unique farewell gift: a doll made from the drawing that her mother loves so much.

Oh, I forgot to add the necklace I  had made....

Qobit and Floob

Faiz wrote a children's book about space creatures and these two are his wife's favourite characters - now brought to life as her birthday presents. Original Qobit (the big creature) and Floob (he is the smaller one) were also drawn by Faiz, and then he asked a professional friend to make them look even better.

Moki

Emmi has a tiny little friend, Moki. Moki is so small that Emmi is the only one who can see him. To be more exact she has been the only one so far. Because when her mom became aware of the existence of softies, she asked Emmi if she would like to have a bigger Moki, big enough to be visible for her friends in the kindergarden for example. And Emmi sat down to draw Moki right away! Now I am allowed to show you Moki. There is only one thing you can't see: his eyes. Emmi asked me to make eyes for her friend, although she wasn't sure about their colour as she had never seen them. You know, Moki has never taken his hat off... Well, I've already seen his star-shaped blue eyes - but you have to imagine them :-)

The Blue Dogs

You know, my customers are lovely. Some of them are even lovelier - like Maggie, who ordered these brown-blue dogs based on her 4-year-old nephew's drawing. She was so enthusiastic that I simply loved emailing with her, and I loved making the twin doggies. Even though there was no excuse, the doggies had to go through a serious huggability test - well, they passed the exam with excellent qualification!

Beary Big Bear

A big birthday bear for Pablo's sister, drawn by Gena, 7. His arms can move and stay in a chosen position - it was Pablo's request :-)

SuperDan

SuperDan is a desk-softie for Daniel, who was celebrating his 27th birthday recently. (It is called a desk-softie, because it can sit on a desk all day long. And all night.) He has a magical detachable blue wig on his head.

The Duck

Sam's father has been keeping this drawing on his desk for about 20 years. Oldie duckie... As toys have always been a huge part of their life, even as adults, Sam asked me to turn the duck into a collectable.

And the winner is...

Oak Farm School in Hillingdon had a competition: 'design a school mascot'. This was the winning design, a superhero type acorn :-). His name is Quercus which means oak tree in Latin. The kids can see it in an assembly today for the first time - I hope they will love it!

Squinky

One day at the end of May 5-year old Lyra went home from school with this drawing. She called the creature Squinky. Her father did not waste his time, he immediately asked me to turn Squinky into a softie. And I did not hesitate to say yes - Squinky's mysterious personality attracted me so much.

Fireknight

Joe, who is 9 chose me to turn this fearless Fireknight into a softie - I was so proud! He and his mom were so excited to get the softie that they thought they would jump on the postman. Fortunately the postman survived delivering the softie...
