A really boyish softie :-)

Amikor a FirkaBaba elérte az 1000 lájkot a Facebookon, hálából nyereményjátékot hirdettem az olvasóimnak, és a random.org az angol Lou nevét dobta ki nyertesnek. A háromszemű az ő fiának készült.

Magical angel

Angels are among us - sometimes they have wings, sometimes not. Madison is a magical angel with wings :-), and she drew this self portrait for her mom when she was in big need of getting comfort. 

Varázsangyal - a rajz Madison mamájának készült, de a firkababa a mama terve szerint nemzedékről nemzedékre fog szállni. Van szárnya, megteheti :-)

More softies for Maya

It always feels good if an old customer gets back to you. This time I was especially excited because I had been in love with Maya's first drawing, and it is still one of my favourite projects. Now her mom asked me to turn some more members of the family into softies: Maya's grandmother and her aunt with her little baby. And of course everybody had to be doubled again :-)

Bővült az ausztrál Maya családja: egyik nagyiját már megvarrtam tavaly, most került sorra a másik nagyija és a nagynénje a kisbabájával. Mindenkiből kettő kellett, egyet Maya kap belőlük, egy pedig a megrajzolt családtagé lesz.

Stingray

Haggai's sister got a dragon softie for her birthday, which made her younger brother jealous. He wanted a softie, too. He loves sea creatures very much, so he drew a smiling stingray with golden eyes and blue spots.

Now Haggai is satisfied, too :-) "This is the best birthday ever! I'm going to sleep with him every night!"

Szegény Haggai nagyon megirigyelte a nővére firkasárkányát, így az anyukája neki is kért egy firkababát, nevezetesen egy ráját. A legbarátságosabb rájarajz, amit valaha láttam :-)

Egy nagyi mindhárom unokája májusban ünnepli a szülinapját, ez lesz az ajándékuk.

Bunny

One of the funniest orders I've had so far :-) Hannah and her boyfriend will celebrate their second anniversary this summer. This drawing was made at a fast food place more than a year and a half ago, and they were just doodling, but it really brought them together.

Hannah asked me to use these colours: white bunny with pink ears and green eyes, black glasses and shoes, and blue pants. And a favourite detail: the 'flush thing' of  the toilet had to be silver. The newspaper headline is about the happy young couple, of course!

 

Úgy látszik, a nyulak is ugyanazt csinálják a WC-n ülve, mint egyes embertársaink... A kép Hannah és a barátja műve, és ez a közös rajzolgatás hozta őket össze már majdnem két évvel ezelőtt. A firkanyúl évfordulós ajándék lesz nyáron.
